Remember BENJAMIN FRANKLIN'S methods of persuading others to his point of view? They took patience and endurance.

 

He assumed that people are won over slowly, often indirectly.

 

"If you don't win the sale today", he would say, "go after it again tomorrow - and the next day. Be clear, in your own mind, about exactly what you're after".
